BSSC Round One

The script I entered for the BSSC (Out of Time) this year has made it through the initial cut to round one (along with approximately 2,417 others*). Elinor, on the other hand, has three in, which theoretically gives her three times as many chances of winning as me (closely followed by Martin Adams with two). Drat! And double drat!

Now that's out of my system, congratulations to everyone who made it through.

* Sorry, I couldn't be bothered to count them all!

congrats chip - might want ot recheck yr figures tho- as they said only 1500 entered, narrowing it down to nearly 2,417 is quiet an achievment!

...and I might want TO recheck my spelling!

I scrolled through the list and it looked like a couple of thousand to me! Maths was never my strong point...

Martin's spelling has always been a bit wobberley, to be honest ;-)

Well done, Caroline!

If I have to hit the 'Page Down' key more than twice to see the end of a list, that automatically means there must be at least a couple of thousand items on the list ;-)

Here's to round two!

Well done on getting through. Both mine are there but that's as far as I got last year. Fingers crossed for everyone.

Well done, Rach! Let's see what happens in round two. Ding ding! (thanks to Elinor for use of the bell).

Congratulations to you all!

I suspect it's more a case of us all spelling our names correctly on the entry form! That said, I'm quite prepared to bask in some (brief) Round 1 glory ;-)
